Good coffee, good pastries, and a great cause!
We had a mobile espresso cart set up right in our media lounge. The smell of freshly made pastries and the sound of espresso make the weekday morning a little easier.
We also gave everyone the opportunity to donate to Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships to the military families of America's fallen or disabled service members. We even had a representative from Folds of Honor on hand to answer questions and be part of the effort!
This is all in part of our Pillar Passions program - each quarter we partner with a different charity to raise funds and awareness. We believe in sharing this commitment with the people who call our apartments home and can't thank them enough for their generosity and support!
Doing a good deed, enjoying a pastry and your favorite coffee drink all before leaving your apartment community - now that's a good way to start the day!
